About Us
Sahyog Charitable Trust is a non-profit making, non-religious, non-political Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), with a vision of upliftment of at-risk, vulnerable, and less fortunate sections of society who really do not have any access to their constitutional, moral, and social RIGHTS. Its main thrust has been on bringing social change in a positive direction among the target partners with a rights-based approach. People’s participation, along with follow-up programs, has been its major tool for executing every activity to make people and programs self-sustaining.
The Trust came into existence in the year 1995 through the efforts of a few committed professional social workers (BSW & MSW) who felt an urge to come together, join hands to uplift the needy, and initiate developmental activities in the slums of the Nehru Nagar area in District South Delhi.

Mission
Our mission is to support vulnerable, at-risk, and marginalized groups, especially children and women, by ensuring that they get their basic rights. We are dedicated to helping these communities through practical actions and programs that meet their immediate needs and create long-term benefits. By providing essential resources and opportunities, we aim to build a fairer society where everyone has a chance to succeed and live with dignity.
We work closely with local communities and partners to address both short-term and long-term challenges. Our goal is to create positive change with care and understanding, making sure everyone, no matter their situation, can feel safe and empowered.
Achievements
- Among all the 185 NGO,s of SSA, Delhi, Sahyog charitable trust was appreciated & visited by the Delegation of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and its Chief Mr. Rodrigo De Rato after inspecting our Learning Centers for out of School children accompanied with the teams of the World Bank and UEE Mission, Directorate of Education.
- On 1-12-2023 our NGO awarded & honored by the NACO & DSACS, as the best NGO among all the IDU,s partner Ngo’s in Delhi.
- Honoured and awarded as the best NGO in the field of woman and child development by the Industry and Labour Minister Mr. Mangat Ram Singhal, Organized by National Child & Women Development Charitable Trust.
