Who Are We
Sahyog Charitable Trust is a non-profit making, non- religious,non-political Non Governmental Organization (NGO) with a vision of upliftment of at-risk, vulnerable and less fortunate sections of the society who really do not have any access to their constitutional, moral & social RIGHTS. Its main thrust has been on bringing a social change in positive direction among the target partners with Right based approach. People’s participation with follow-up program have been its major tools of execution of every activity to make people & program self sustainable.
The Trust came into existence in the year 1995 with some efforts of few committed professional social workers (BSW & MSW) who felt an urge to come together, join hands to uplift the needy and initiated some developmental activities in slums of Nehru Nagar area of District South of Delhi.
What We Do
Empowering every vulnerable, at-risk, deprived & marginalized group (children & women) by providing their basic RIGHTS with action oriented vision.
Our Achievements
- Honoured and awarded as the best NGO in the field of woman and child development by the Industry and Labour Minister Mr. Mangat Ram Singhal, Organized by National Child & Women Development Charitable Trust.
- Among all the 185 NGO,s of SSA, Delhi, Sahyog charitable trust was appreciated & visited by the Delegation of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and its Chief Mr. Rodrigo De Rato after inspecting our Learning Centers for out of School children accompanied with the teams of the World Bank and UEE Mission, Directorate of Education.
- On 1-12-2023 our NGO awarded & honored by the NACO & DSACS, as the best NGO among all the IDU,s partner Ngo’s in Delhi.
